The House Committee on Appropriations' Subcommittee onCommerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies held ahearing, entitled "Fiscal Year 2022 Budget Request for TheDepartment of Justice." At the hearing, Attorney GeneralMerrick B. Garland testified regarding the U.S. Department ofJustice's budget request, which includes a request for anadditional $45 million for the Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI) for domestic terrorism investigations.
