National President Patrick Yoes traveled to Columbia,
South Carolina to attend the South Carolina State FOP
board meeting.
National President Patrick Yoes and National Sergeant-at-Arms Keith Turney spoke
with Kym Craven, Executive Director of the National Association of Women Law
Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE), regarding the 30x30 Initiative, which aims to
increase the representation of women in police recruit classes to 30% by 2030, and
to ensure police policies and culture intentionally support the success of qualified
women officers throughout their careers.

Police to discuss draft legislation codifying certain
provisions in Executive Order 14074, “Advancing
Effective, Accountable Policing and Criminal Justice
Practices to Enhance Public Trust and Public Safety.”
Senior Legislative Liaison Tim Richardson and Legislative
Liaison David Taboh spoke with staff in the office of
Senator Elizabeth A. Warren (D-MA) to discuss draft
legislation entitled, the “Digital Asset Anti-Money
Laundering Act.”

in the office of Senator William M. Cassidy, MD (R-LA) to
discuss S. 894, the “Public Safety Concussions and
Traumatic Brain Injury Health Act,” and other FOP
priorities.
