Spanberger (D-VA), and otherMembers of the U.S. House of Representatives to rally support for H.R. 82/S. 597,the “Social Security Fairness Act.” Representatives Graves and Spanbergerannounced that the bill had garnered 290 cosponsors, enabling them to use aHouse rule to expedite the bill’s consideration. Dr. Liebengood has been at the forefront of the efforts to ensurethat law enforcement suicides are treated as service-connected and should be seenfor what they are—line of duty deaths.
