National President Patrick Yoes attended the FOP's Labor
Coalition Conference in Deerfield, Florida.

Executive Director Jim Pasco spoke with Jack A. Rauch,
Special Assistant to the President, expressed the FOP's
gratitude for his collegial, energetic approach in doing his job
and his assistance to the FOP, as today is his last day working
at the White House.
Executive Director Jim Pasco spoke with Michael C. Stenger,
Sergeant-at-Arms for the United States Senate, regarding the
events that unfolded at the U.S. Capitol. Mr. Stenger has resigned
in the wake of the riot. A Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Stenger retired
from the U.S. Secret Service as
an Assistant Director and has
served seven years as the Senate
Sergeant-at-Arms. He is an active
member of D.C. FOP Lodge #1.

Fire Fighters (IAFF) and other stakeholders regarding re-
introduction of the "Public Employer-Employee Cooperation Act"
for the 117th Congress. This legislation is one of the FOP's top
legislative priorities.

Senior Legislative Liaison Tim Richardson and Legislative
Liaison Rebecca Tyus had a call with staff in the office of
Representative Thomas E. Emmer Jr. (R-MN) regarding FOP top
priorities as well as two bills he intends to cosponsor, the
"Community Outpost Outreach and Engagement Act," and the
"Abby Honold Act."
Senior Legislative Liaison Tim Richardson and Legislative
Liaison Rebecca Tyus had a call with Judiciary Committee staff in
the office of Senator John N. Kennedy (R-LA) regarding the
introduction of a Senate version of the "LEOSA Reform Act" and
the "Protect and Serve Act." Both pieces of legislation discussed
are included in the FOP's top legislative priorities.

Liaison Rebecca Tyus had a call with stakeholder groups
regarding anti-money laundering legislation in the "National
Defense Authorization Act," which was passed in December
during the 116th Congress.

Rebecca Tyus had a call with staff in the office of Senator Robert P.
Casey Jr. (D-PA) regarding the "Safe Interactions Act" and the
"Human-services Emergency Logistics Program (HELP) Act."
The House and Senate met in a joint session of Congress, which is
mandated under Federal law, to certify the Electoral College votes
from each State. Vice President Michael R. Pence, who presided
over the joint session, announced that Congress had completed the
counting of the Electoral College votes and certified the election of
President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. Earlier in the day, the joint
session of Congress was interrupted when United States Capitol
Police (USCP) officers and other law enforcement officers
responded to thousands of individuals who engaged in violence as
they stormed the United States Capitol Building.
