National President Patrick Yoes participated in multiple FOP marketing meetings with
Life MD and Amazon Business.
National President Patrick Yoes joined Sherry Martin, NFOP Director of Officer Wellness,
Dr. Jaquline Drew, Police Psychologist at Griffin University, and President Shane Prior of
the Queensland Police Union on a call centered around creating an officer wellness
partnership.
National President Patrick Yoes met with Kevin Krueger and DART Chairman Jason
Smith regarding the DART Trailer transport by UPS.
Executive Director Jim Pasco spoke with Alex Flemister, Director of Strategic Initiatives

THE U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
The House considered and passed H. Con. Res. 14 by a vote of 216-214. The budget
resolution acts as an outline for priorities on taxes, immigration, defense, energy, and
Federal spending and allows for the consideration of a reconciliation measure. A budget
reconciliation measure can pass with a simple majority, avoiding a Senate filibuster.
The House considered and passed H.R. 22, the “SAVE Act,” which would require
individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote in
federal elections by a vote of 220-208.
The House considered H. Con. Res. 9, Authorizing the use of the Capitol Grounds for the
National Peace Officers Memorial Service and the National Honor Guard and Pipe Band
Exhibition, under suspension of the rules.
The House considered and passed H.R 1228, the “Prioritizing Veterans Survivors Act,”
which would restore the Office of Survivors Assistance to its original role under the
Secretary of Veterans Affairs, on a vote of 424-0.
The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing entitled,A Continued Pattern of
Government Surveillance of U.S. Citizens.”
The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing entitled, “Sanctuary Jurisdictions:
Magnet for Migrants, Cover for Criminals.” Witnesses included Neill Franklin, the Former
Executive Director of the Law Enforcement Action Partnership.
The House considered and passed H.R. 1526, the “No Rogue Rulings Act,” which would
limit the authority of federal district courts to issue injunctions by a vote of 219-213.

THE UNITED STATES SENATE
The Senate confirmed Mark R. Meador to serve as a Commissioner within the Federal
Trade Commission by a vote of 50-46.
The Senate confirmed Elbridge A. Colby to serve as Under Secretary of Defense for
Policy within the U.S. Department of Defense by a vote of 54-45.
The Senate Committee on Armed Services held a hearing entitled “To receive testimony
on Department of Defense personnel policies and programs in review of the Defense
Authorization Request for Fiscal Year 2026 and the Future Years Defense Program.”
The Senate considered and passed S.Res. 179, A resolution recognizing and supporting
the goals and ideals of National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, by
unanimous consent.
