We’re also joinedby Matt Hagen, who chairs the Memorial Committee. Matt and the MemorialCommittee are responsible for the planning, setup and execution of the NationalPeace Officers' Memorial Service in Washington, D.C.

@GLFOP @FOPNATIONALNATIONAL FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICETHIS WEEK IN WASHINGTONTHE U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVESThe House Committee on the Judiciary held a hearing entitled “Oversight of theBureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.” ATF Director Steven M.Dettelbach testified.The House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Governmentheld a hearing that examined actions taken by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). The hearing included testimony from AndrewGraham, the former Deputy Assistant Director for ATF Enforcement ProgramsServices. The House Committee on Armed Services Committee favorably reported H.R.8070, the “National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025,” on a nearunanimous vote. The bill, which provides defense funding through fiscal year 2025,now moves to the House floor for further consideration.

Thomas Manger testified.
