National President Patrick Yoes spoke with various media outlets.
National President Patrick Yoes, Executive Director Jim Pasco, and Senior Legislative
Liaison Tim Richardson met with FOP members from NJ FOP Lodge #168 to discuss
strategies for building support for the “Law Enforcement Officers’ Equity Act.”
National President Patrick Yoes worked out of the Washington, D.C. office this week.
National President Patrick Yoes and Executive Director Jim Pasco met with Kash P.
Patel, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Acting Director of the Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, to discuss FOP priorities and ways in which
the FOP can closely collaborate with all of the enforcement agencies within the U.S.
Department of Justice going forward.
National President Patrick Yoes and Executive Director Jim Pasco met with James D.
Jordan (R-OH), Chairman of the House Committee on the Judiciary, to discuss H.R. 1551,
the “Protect and Serve Act,” S. 237, the “Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act.” and other
pending FOP priorities. Edward A. Kelly, General President of the International
Association of Firefighters, as well as Kevin O’Connor, Assistant to the General
President, were also in attendance.
National President Patrick Yoes attended the Western Sates Conference in Des Moines,
IA.
Executive Director Jim Pasco continued conversations with the White House Office of
Domestic Policy and the Office of Policy Engagement regarding the recent Executive
Order on collective bargaining with the view of ensuring, to the maximum extent possible,
that our members will be protected under the Executive Order.
