National President Patrick Yoes met with Executive Director Claire Selib of the National
Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) to discuss federal grant concerns.
National President Patrick Yoes attended the Florida State Lodge Board Meeting in
Atlantic Beach, FL.
National President Patrick Yoes spoke with numerous media outlets.
National President Patrick Yoes, Executive Director Jim Pasco, and Senior Legislative
Liaison Tim Richardson spoke at the legislative briefing for the 2025 Day on the Hill at
the National Law Enforcement Museum. Also in attendance were Legislative Liaisons
Benjamin Stokes and Laura Gormally.
National President Patrick Yoes and Executive Director Jim Pasco participated in a
roundtable discussion with police chiefs and other law enforcement executives to
discuss policing and criminal justice issues in Washington, D.C. with the goal to identify
areas of common interest and greater collaboration. Among the issues discussed was
the need to reauthorize FirstNet and to preserve the 4.9 GHz band for the exclusive use
of public safety.
Senior Legislative Liaison Tim Richardson and Legislative Liaison Benjamin Stokes met
with staff in the office of Senator Bernardo Moreno (R-OH) to discuss the “Law
Enforcement Officers’ Equity Act.”
Senior Legislative Liaison Tim Richardson participated in a stakeholders meeting with
staff from the offices of Representative John H. Rutherford (R-FL) and Senator T.
Jonathan Ossoff (D-GA) to discuss the re-introduction of the “Homes for Every Local
Protector, Educator, and Responder (HELPER) Act.”
