Theyare expected to be sentenced sometime in August. Amy L. Solomon was sworn in as the Assistant Attorney General for the Office ofJustice Programs, the U.S. Department of Justice’s largest funding, research, andstatistical component.The U.S. Department of Justiceannounced the results of OperationSpecTor, a coordinated internationallaw enforcement effort to disruptdrug trafficking on the dark web,which resulted in a total of 288arrests and the seizure of 117 illegalfirearms, 850 kilograms of drugs,and $53.4 million dollars in cash andcryptocurrency.THIS WEEK IN WASHINGTONTHE WHITE HOUSE

The Senate Committee on the Judiciary passed S. 1207, the Eliminating Abusiveand Rampant Neglect of Interactive Technologies (EARN IT) Act, via voice vote.
